About this Wedding
This Redhead Beach wedding was one of those days where the unexpected ended up making the photographs even more special. During the couple portraits, bushfire smoke drifted across the coastline, creating a soft haze over the beach and the most incredible light.
Rather than taking away from the images, the smoke gave the portraits an almost cinematic feel, softening the colors and adding a beautiful layer to the background. The combination of coastal light, ocean, wind and smoke created something we simply could not have planned.
